MindFit Partners Gather Evidence to Develop the Toolkit

As part of the development of the MindFit Toolkit, project partners are currently working on the desk and field research phase to better understand the needs of young people and the practitioners who support them. This stage is essential to ensure that the toolkit responds to real challenges and provides practical support for using sport as a tool to promote youth mental health and well-being. The project had already identified desk research, focus groups, and questionnaire distribution as key steps under the toolkit development process.

So far, partners have conducted one focus group in each country and distributed questionnaires to collect valuable feedback from relevant stakeholders. They are now analysing the findings and mapping the main needs, gaps, and priorities that should shape the MindFit Toolkit. The aim is to create a useful and practical resource that helps youth workers and practitioners apply sport-based activities in ways that strengthen mental health, resilience, and inclusion among young people.
